I am skeptical by default. The supplement industry has a serious credibility problem, and most review sites are just sales funnels dressed up with medical jargon. I try to do the opposite. When a company says their product is "clinically proven," I find the study and check the sample size, methodology, conflict of interest disclosures, and whether the results were actually statistically significant.
I am not a doctor or pharmacist. I have a background in data analysis and research methodology, which is what I apply to this work. I will always tell you when the evidence is weak or when I am uncertain about something. If you are considering taking a supplement, talk to your doctor first. That is not a disclaimer I am required to include. I genuinely mean it.
For a detailed breakdown of how I evaluate each product, read the full review methodology page.
